Private Instruction on Upright and Electric Bass
Kameron's approach to private lessons is student-centered, grounded in applying instruction to musical styles and concepts that the student is interested in. Since the bass is a versatile and often essential instrument in music, Kameron offers comprehensive instruction in multiple styles from jazz to classical, country to hip hop, and everything in between. He can help beginning through advanced bassists work on technique, reading skill, theory, tune learning, improvisation, and ear training.
For high school students needing fine arts credits to graduate, Kameron is an approved instructor through Educational Advantage, an accredited digital high school that provides a high quality, individualized education, and whose credits are transferrable to local high schools in the Twin Cities.

"...Kam helped me expand my knowledge of the instrument. I wanted to learn more theory and reading so that's what we did at a comfortable and engaging pace. I would highly recommend Kam if you're stuck in a rut like I was or just starting out." -Justin from Minneapolis "... [Kameron] taught me how to read music, was always prepared with a lesson and gave me great material to work on at home. Kameron is a seriously talented bassist and musician and can take your playing anywhere you want it to go. I ended up playing bass in a local cover band and I highly doubt I would have gotten there without him!" -Jen from Philadelphia |
